He specifically states that the inclusion of a fingerprint scanner is likely to cause headaches for Apple, as it will be a big challenge for Apple to work out how to prevent interference from the black and white casing material under the cover glass when attempting to incorporate a fingerprint scanner on the updated iPhone 5S model, which is likely to use the same construction and design as the company’s current flagship smartphone.
Of course, these devices have not yet been officially announced, but seem quite likely given the increasing number of credible sources stating that this will be the case.
